Hard to believe it but this jack pike was caught within seconds of Wilson's first cast of the day with his new rod and reel that Santa gave him... Incredible! Especially when you consider that he had NO bait on at the time.

couldn't believe that one!! first five minutes and he was just testing out the cast on his new rod without bait, just a weight and hook. I reckon they were hungry judging from the takes. It must have went straight for the weight.
